Halloween Happenin’s

October 25th - 26th

and now, November 2nd

12 PM - 3 PM Kid Carnival—Open to the public…local businesses will set up in the parking garage of Seaside Promenade Inn & Suites with games for kids. Come by the park to get a list of additional local businesses participating in the carnival around town. THIS IS A LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Saturday, October 25th:

10 AM Pet Parade—Bring your pets or just come to watch! We encourage dressing up in the spirit of Halloween. RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER FOR SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND AT 12 PM.

12 PM - 2 PM Trunk or Treat—Dress up and come to the Parking Garage of the Promenade Inn & Suites, off of Broadway, for Trunk or Treating! Local businesses and organizations will be set up and handing out candy. This is a great way to get extra use out of those Halloween costumes.

Sunday, October 26th:

10 AM Witches & Warlocks Paddle—Join us at Quatat Park (behind the Seaside Civic & Convention Center) to launch your kayak, canoe or paddleboard. Feel free to dress in costume. This is a rain or shine event! THIS IS RESCHEDULED FROM SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25TH DUE TO POTENTIAL UNSAFE WEATHER AND RIVER CONDITIONS.

2:00ish—The Giant Pumpkin Drop! We will be dropping a 1000-pound pumpkin into a pool full of rubber ducks and beavers. The duck and beaver that fly the furthest each win $400. This is a fundraiser that helps support our annual Halloween Happenin’s events. THIS IS RESCHEDULED FROM SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26TH DUE TO POTENTIAL UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT WILL NOT ALLOW THE CRANE TO OPERATE.
