22nd Annual Seaside Community Flower Basket Campaign
The Seaside Downtown Development Association is starting their annual fund-raising campaign for the 66 Community Flower Baskets the organization hangs in the downtown core area every spring. The baskets quickly grow into beautiful, lush spots of color, helping to keep downtown Seaside looking vibrant and welcoming for our residents and visitors!
To purchase and maintain each basket, from May until September, will cost approximately $300.00. The generous support of our donors are what keep the program going. “Every donation, large and small is important to us”, says SDDA Executive Director Sarah Dailey. The baskets are delivered and hung with help from volunteers and City of Seaside workers. SDDA contracts with Pam Fleming, the City of Seaside gardener and owner of “Nature’s Helper, Inc.” to maintain them.
The campaign begins with a mass mailing to past and prospective donors. For more information, or to be added to the outreach list, please contact the SDDA office at 503.717.1914, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
