In April 2004 the Oregon Downtown Development Association honored the owners/developers of the Kirwen Building and the Gilbert Block for their efforts in creating a "Gateway to Downtown". Aside from the coveted award, downtown Seaside has a lot going on. The Seaside Downtown Development Association works hard year round to produce events to bring business downtown, we organize educational forums, and offer joint marketing opportunities to our members. Now is the time for you to join the dynamic Seaside Downtown Development Association!

When you join the Seaside Downtown Development Association (SDDA), you are joining a partnership that is working on behalf of the city of Seaside. Your membership gives you the opportunity to play a direct role in the strengthening of downtown Seaside. A healthy, viable downtown is crucial to the economic health and civic pride of the entire community. Membership dues and hard work allow us to continue to bring programs to our members and beautification efforts to downtown.

Our Thursday morning breakfast programs are a great way to get acquainted with other Seaside business owners and managers. Our weekly program features informational guest speakers, open forums and an opportunity to network your business. We meet every Thursday, 8:30 AM at the Pig 'n Pancake in downtown Seaside. After Memorial Day the meetings will start at 8:00 AM. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND! JOIN US SOON.
